Matematik

For Matematik, tuition fees are 2,400 USD per year.

This program covers core areas of pure and applied mathematics, including algebra, analysis, calculus, differential equations, and probability theory. Students develop rigorous problem-solving and proof-writing skills, learning to construct and evaluate mathematical arguments with precision. Coursework typically progresses from foundational subjects toward more advanced or specialized topics, giving students exposure to areas such as abstract algebra, topology, or numerical methods depending on the program's structure and available electives. The analytical thinking developed through mathematical study extends well beyond the subject itself, as students learn to break down complex problems, identify underlying structures, and construct logical solutions. Many programs also incorporate computational tools, giving students experience applying mathematical methods using software and programming. Graduates pursue careers in finance, data analysis, technology, engineering-adjacent fields, education, and actuarial work, or continue into graduate study in mathematics, statistics, or related quantitative disciplines. This bachelor program runs for 4 years and is taught in English at Middle East Technical University, a state institution located in Ankara, Turkey, providing a rigorous quantitative foundation for a wide range of career paths.
