Bachelor in Mechatronics Engineering

Tuition comes to 5,500 USD per year.

Mechatronics engineering combines mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering to design and build automated and intelligent systems. Students study mechanics, electronics, control systems, robotics, sensors, and programming, learning how these disciplines interact in devices ranging from manufacturing robots to consumer electronics. Coursework typically covers circuit design, microcontrollers, actuators, signal processing, and system integration, alongside foundational mathematics and physics. Laboratory work allows students to build and test automated systems, reinforcing theory with hands-on practice. Graduates find roles in manufacturing, robotics, automotive industries, aerospace, and product development, where the ability to bridge mechanical and electronic systems is valued. This bachelor program runs 4 years and is taught in English at Istanbul Gedik University in İstanbul, Turkey. Students benefit from an international learning environment where technical vocabulary and coursework are delivered in English, preparing graduates for global engineering careers or further study abroad. The curriculum balances theoretical instruction with practical, project-based learning, encouraging students to apply concepts to real-world engineering challenges. As industries increasingly automate processes, mechatronics engineers are involved in designing smarter, more efficient systems across sectors. The program equips students with the technical foundation needed to enter this evolving, interdisciplinary field, whether they choose to work directly in industry or continue their education at the graduate level in a related engineering specialization.
