Mekatronik Mühendisliği

Mechatronics Engineering combines mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer control to design integrated systems such as robots, automated manufacturing equipment, and smart devices. Coursework typically covers mechanical design, electronics, control systems, sensors and actuators, and programming, giving students the skills to build systems where mechanical components, electronic circuits, and software work together to sense and respond to their environment. This bachelor's program is offered at Turkish-German University in İstanbul, Turkey, over 4 years of full-time study, with instruction conducted in German. The curriculum combines coursework in mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals with laboratory and project work in robotics, automation, and embedded control systems, and the German-language instruction connects the program to mechatronics and automation practice in German-speaking countries. Graduates commonly pursue careers in robotics, automation, automotive engineering, and manufacturing, working on the design and integration of automated systems and smart devices across a range of industries. Some specialize in robotics research or control system design, while others move into product development or continue into graduate study in mechatronics, robotics, or a related engineering field. The interdisciplinary nature of mechatronics gives graduates a flexible skill set that spans mechanical design, electronics, and software, supporting careers in industries increasingly built around automation, robotics, and integrated smart systems for manufacturing and consumer applications.
