Students who have achieved strong results in mathematics (A*AA at A-level or equivalent) and are keen to apply computing, data analytics and machine learning to real-world problems will find this integrated MEng suitable.

The programme runs for four full-time years. The first three years deliver core engineering and computer-science modules covering programming, algorithms, data analytics, deep learning and computer vision. In the final year students work on a group design project and can choose optional topics that match their interests. An optional paid industrial-studies year can be taken in place of the third year, giving a full year of work experience.

Study takes place at the Highfield campus with modern labs that support research-led learning. The course also offers a foundation-year route for applicants without the required maths background, allowing them to progress onto the MEng after successful completion.
