Motor Vehicle Maintenance (Level 1)

The Motor Vehicle Maintenance program at Bedford College is for students who want to learn the basics of vehicle maintenance. This non-degree program takes one year to complete and is taught in English. Students get an introduction to vehicle maintenance and repair.

The curriculum covers basic topics such as vehicle safety, tools, and equipment. Students develop skills in routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire repairs. They also get hands-on experience in a workshop setting, which helps them become familiar with vehicle systems and components.

Graduates can work as Vehicle Maintenance Assistants, Service Technicians, or Parts Advisors. They can find jobs in car dealerships, repair shops, or garages. Other possible job titles include Automotive Service Writer or Repair Shop Assistant.
