Master in MSc High Performance Computing / Quantum Computing

The MSc in High Performance Computing / Quantum Computing at Deggendorf Institute of Technology is a three-semester programme starting in the summer semester, based in Deggendorf. It is embedded in the Faculty of Computer Science and covers quantum computing as a computing paradigm alongside high-performance computing concepts. The curriculum is organised into four main module groups. The first semester covers physics, software engineering, programming, technology, and advanced mathematics relevant to the field. The second semester addresses computer architectures, networking, optimisation methods, infrastructure, system design and application, and further advanced mathematics and physics. An elective module runs in both the first and second semesters. The third semester is devoted to a second elective module, a master's colloquium, and the master's thesis.
