Understanding the Molecular Basis of Life

Biochemists study the molecular basis of life, underpinning our understanding of human health, disease, and applied sciences such as biotechnology, drug discovery, and diagnostics. Programme Distinction

The first two years of the MSci are identical to our BSc programmes, allowing for flexibility early on. The centrepiece is an extended, 16-week individual research project under the supervision of world-leading research group leaders, preparing graduates for senior research roles.
