Osnabrück, Germany Taught in English Open to international students

About the Program

The Master's degree programme in Nanoscience – Materials, Molecules and Cells at Osnabrück University allows students to specialise in one of three disciplines: chemistry, biology, or physics. Each student selects a major and a minor from these three fields, with combinations such as biology major with chemistry minor, or physics major with biology minor. The programme emphasises cross-disciplinary contact between the neighbouring disciplines and facilitates early involvement of students in research groups. The 4-semester programme begins in the winter semester. Students earn credits through required elective courses in their major and minor, required subject specialisation courses in their major, and a Master's thesis. The thesis can only be completed in certain designated majors. The programme is designed as a full-time, research-oriented course of study leading to the Master of Science degree. It is offered at Osnabrück University in Osnabrück, Germany.
