Bachelor in Physics

Physics is the study of matter, energy, and the fundamental forces that govern the universe, from subatomic particles to the behavior of galaxies. Students build a foundation in classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and optics before progressing to more advanced subjects such as quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, and solid-state physics. Mathematics forms a core part of the curriculum, since physical theories are expressed and tested through mathematical models, and laboratory courses give students hands-on experience designing experiments, collecting data, and analyzing results using scientific instruments and computational tools. Many programs also introduce students to computational physics and programming, reflecting the growing role of simulation and data analysis in the field. Graduates of physics programs pursue a wide range of paths, including further graduate study in physics or related sciences, careers in research and development within technology and engineering industries, roles in data analysis and computational modeling, and positions in education.
