Plumbing & Heating Advanced Apprenticeship

The Plumbing & Heating Advanced Apprenticeship program at Bedford College is for students who want to become skilled plumbers and heating engineers. This non-degree program takes several years to complete and is taught in English. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical training to help students develop advanced skills.

The curriculum covers advanced topics like heating systems, electrical controls, and plumbing regulations. Students learn how to install, maintain, and repair heating and plumbing systems. They also gain experience with diagnostic tools and equipment to help them troubleshoot common issues.

After completing this program, students can work as senior plumbers, heating engineers, or technical sales consultants. They can find jobs in large construction companies, plumbing and heating businesses, or facilities management firms. Some students may also work as estimators or supervisors in the plumbing and heating industry.
