The University of Saarland's Bachelor of Science in Psychologie offers a pathway to becoming a psychotherapist, aligning with the Approbationsordnung and approved by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie. Students develop a strong foundation in methodological research, psychodiagnostic, and general psychobiology, while engaging with non-psychological electives. During the 6-semester, 180 CP program, students explore key areas such as motivation, learning, and cognition, and can choose from various specializations in clinical psychology and psychotherapy. The curriculum is designed to enable students to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, which prepares them for certification as a Psychotherapist.

BaPsy-DGPs

test is a mandatory part of the application process. The program also includes a two-semester research internship and a 12-week practical internship.
