Psikoloji

Psychology examines human behavior and mental processes through both theoretical study and empirical research. Typical coursework spans areas such as cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, abnormal psychology, and research methods, including statistics used to design and interpret psychological studies. Students learn how to evaluate research literature, conduct experiments, and apply psychological theory to understand behavior in individual and group settings. Many programs include laboratory components or supervised research projects that give students direct experience with data collection and analysis. Career paths for graduates include clinical and counseling work following further qualification, human resources, research, and roles in education or social services, as well as continued graduate study toward licensure in clinical fields.
