Public Services: Entry to the Uniformed Services Level 3 Full-time

The Public Services program at Barnsley College is a full-time, one-year course for students who want to join the uniformed services. It's a non-degree program taught in English, with no prior education required.

The curriculum includes subjects like teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving. Students will develop skills in communication, navigation, and first aid, and will participate in hands-on activities like outdoor adventures and community projects.

Graduates can pursue careers as Police Officers, Firefighters, or Prison Officers. They may also find work as Ambulance Technicians, or in the military as Army Soldiers or Royal Air Force Personnel.
