The Modedesign programme at WHZ features a strong focus on student projects such as Codigoependency, a collaboration with industry partners like Rudi Gundlach.

Students are encouraged to develop their own creative concepts and work on both independent and collaborative projects. The programme includes a year-long module called 'Projektarbeit', in which students work on a design project related to their chosen specialism, from concept to realisation.

The course also offers the option to spend a semester abroad, allowing students to gain international experience and perspectives.
