Master in Sachbearbeiter Digitale Forensik

A two-semester, part-time certificate programme, the Sachbearbeiter Digitale Forensik is offered in partnership with the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) for employees of federal and state investigative authorities. It is delivered primarily online, but includes in-person days and a week-long on-campus week at Mittweida near Leipzig, beginning with three days in the first semester. Students who complete the required modules earn the Zertifikat „Sachbearbeiter:in Digitale Forensik“. The programme covers eight modules, with topics ranging from legal frameworks to practical forensics, and concludes with examinations.

The programme offers practical exercises to enhance the theoretical knowledge gained in webinars, with a focus on handling evidence and digital forensics using software and forensics analysis.
