Bachelor in Scienze Geologiche

The Scienze Geologiche bachelor programme at the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences offers a solid preparation in the fundamental processes of the Earth's system, including geological-structural, geophysical, and volcanological-geochemical disciplines. The curriculum includes extensive hands-on training, with exercises in dedicated labs, and field trips from the first year, with excursions lasting several days. Students spend a significant amount of time in dedicated labs equipped with microscopes, mineral and rock collections, fossil collections, and topographic and geological maps.

Graduates can enter the professional field as Geologists and work in environmental control and mining. The programme is designed to prepare students for further studies at the master's level in Geology.
