Screen and Film

The CertHE Screen and Film program is designed for aspiring filmmakers looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in a practical setting. This one-year course is ideal for international students and mature learners who want to dive into the world of filmmaking. With a focus on hands-on experience, students will engage in lectures, workshops, and collaborative projects, culminating in a comprehensive creative portfolio.

Throughout the course, students will learn essential filmmaking techniques, including cinematography, editing, and directing. The curriculum emphasizes industry-relevant skills and includes modules such as Camera, Lighting and Sound, Production Design, and Post Production. Students will also have the opportunity to create short films, which are crucial for building a professional showreel and gaining insights into real-world production processes.
