Bachelor in Mathematics Foundation

The tuition fee is 23,200 GBP per year.

This foundation programme is designed for ambitious students who possess a genuine curiosity for mathematics but require additional academic preparation before commencing an undergraduate degree. By integrating core mathematical principles with project-based learning, the course bridges the gap between secondary education and the rigorous demands of a BSc Mathematics degree at Aston University.

You will thrive here if you are a collaborative learner who enjoys applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. The programme mimics a professional environment, requiring you to work alongside students from diverse academic backgrounds. This interdisciplinary approach ensures you develop not only your mathematical mind but also the essential 'Power Skills'—such as AI literacy, innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive leadership—that are embedded into the Aston experience.

Industry-Aligned Collaborative Learning

The curriculum is heavily focused on hands-on application, supported by state-of-the-art computer labs and access to industry-standard software via our status as an Adobe Creative Campus.
