Bachelor in Speech & Language Therapy, BSc (Hons) - Degree Apprenticeship

The programme runs over three years, with one day per week of on-campus teaching at Preston and the remaining four days spent in your place of employment. Year 1 builds the biomedical, linguistic and professional foundations; Year 2 adds modules on acquired and developmental communication disorders; Year 3 focuses on lifelong conditions, advanced practice and research.

It is intended for individuals already employed in health-care, private practice, charitable or related settings who can secure an apprenticeship contract. You must have a suitable role that allows you to integrate study with practice and be supported by your employer.

Each week you attend lectures, labs and simulated clinics on campus and then apply the theory directly in your workplace, linking learning to real-world cases from day one.
