Universal Design for Learning

For Universal Design for Learning, applications are due 14th August 2026, and tuition comes to 2,880 EUR per year.

The programme unfolds over a single academic year on a part-time basis, divided into two semesters. Each semester delivers one mandatory 15-credit module, totalling 30 credits, and all study is conducted online, so no campus attendance is required. Modules are assessed continuously through a creative project, e-portfolio and reflective journals, with a recommended 5–6 hours of study per week for each 5-credit module.

A concrete illustration is the first semester module “Understanding the UDL Framework: Inclusive Education – Beyond Threshold Concepts”. It examines the evolution of inclusive practice, the neuro-educational research underpinning Universal Design for Learning, and how legal and policy frameworks promote equity. Students explore technological tools, adapt curricula, and develop inclusive teaching philosophies, preparing them to apply flexible learning designs in diverse classroom settings.
