The Youth and Family Professional Transition Program is designed for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth under 18. This program is ideal for those who have completed a higher education degree and are seeking a career change into youth care. Over a duration of 10 months, students will engage in both theoretical lessons and practical experience in a registered youth care workplace.

During the first five months, students will attend classes every Wednesday, focusing on essential skills and knowledge for youth care work. After this period, students will apply their learning in a practical setting while continuing their education with bi-weekly classes. This structure ensures that students are well-prepared to meet the challenges of a dynamic work environment.

Graduates of this program can pursue various roles such as Youth Care Worker, Family Support Worker, and Social Worker. Employers in the youth care sector, particularly in Amsterdam, are actively seeking qualified professionals.
