Menlo College

Located in Atherton, just outside San Francisco, Menlo College is a small private residential school in the heart of Silicon Valley. Students live and learn in a community where faculty, staff, and students know one another. Campus life includes student organizations, athletics, performing arts, leadership opportunities, traditions, and activities on the Quad. The college’s location connects study with the wider entrepreneurial and technology community.

Menlo offers four-year undergraduate degrees in business and psychology. These programs focus on leadership, critical thinking, creativity, team building, communication, and the science of behavior, with practical learning built into the experience. An internship is required and may be completed with one of the companies and incubators connected to the college. Graduate options include a Master of Science in Information Systems, a Master of Science in Financial Technology, and a Master of Arts in Sport and Performance Psychology.

International students come from many parts of the world. Undergraduate applicants can expect career-connected learning through internships, class projects, work, service, and leadership. Graduate students should note that international applicants need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic preparation for the Sport and Performance Psychology program. Full-time international students may have a health insurance fee, and residential students must purchase a meal plan. Graduate housing is offered in Howard Hall. Menlo also provides virtual and in-person campus tours for students considering the move to California.
