Courses in models of spatial policy and spatial economics are intended to give students methodological tools for spatial analysis and scenario development. Wrocław University of Science and Technology is described as the only university in Poland offering courses in modelling and computer simulation of spatial development. The programme runs over three semesters and, alongside compulsory courses, offers a variety of elective courses. Urban and spatial planning as a field studies how land, infrastructure, and human activity are organized across cities and regions, drawing on geography, economics, law, and design. Applicants need a bachelor's or engineer degree with a minimum of 210 ECTS credits, assessed individually, and English proficiency equivalent to a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 87 points or an IELTS score of 6.5 points.
