Master in Architektur und Städtebau (M.A.)

In the Master's project, students will develop urban architecture in various scales from a master plan level to a city house, focusing on complex issues such as urban expansion, redevelopment, and densification, as well as the preservation and integration of historic buildings. The project is conducted in collaboration with external institutions, city administrations, and project developers, and includes a two-semester project on a European city or region, with up to 25 students, this programme offers a strong emphasis on hands-on, collaborative learning, with a focus on real-world problem-solving and urban sustainability. Students will gain practical experience through a project-based approach, working on a real-world project, and receive guidance from a group of dedicated faculty members.
