Bachelor in Architecture

For Bachelor in Architecture, tuition costs 178 EUR per year.

The Architecture programme at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris-La Villette in Paris, France, is a 3-year first-cycle course leading to the State Diploma in Architecture. Design studios form the central pedagogical structure of the programme, with students developing architectural projects from initial analysis and concept formulation through spatial definition, structural logic, material choices, and technical resolution in successive studio cycles across the three years. Studio work is supported by lecture and workshop courses in architectural history and theory, building technology, materials science, environmental performance, urban theory, and the social dimensions of architectural practice. The programme is taught in French and begins each September, with annual tuition of 178 EUR. Most graduates continue directly to the second-cycle programme, which leads to the professional State Diploma required to practise as an architect in France. Graduates of the full professional cycle find employment in architectural offices, urban planning and development agencies, heritage conservation services, construction project management, interior design, and real estate. Paris-La Villette is located in the northeast of Paris near the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie and the Canal de l'Ourcq, an urban area characterised by significant post-industrial regeneration and contemporary architectural production that provides students with immediate real-world examples of planning, landscape, and architectural transformation.
