This 3-semester Master's programme in Artificial Intelligence Aided Mobility Design works at the boundary between design and engineering. Students learn to apply AI tools to design processes, developing the ability to analyse complex design challenges, prototype ideas with speed and technical precision, and contribute to multidisciplinary development teams. The programme covers both technical and aesthetic dimensions of design, with close collaboration with industry partners giving the curriculum a practical orientation. It runs in both winter and summer semesters. The programme is aimed at two overlapping groups: technology-oriented designers who want to deepen their engineering competence, and design-savvy engineers who want to develop their creative and communication skills. Both benefit from training that prepares them to operate across disciplines — reading technical specifications, communicating design intent, and coordinating creative aspects of development projects. Graduates are prepared to work as designers within development teams, serve as mediators between technology and design (for example in a studio engineer role), or coordinate creative aspects of product development processes. The skill set — spanning AI techniques, multidisciplinary communication, and an understanding of sustainable design — is oriented toward roles in industries developing future mobility concepts.
