The application deadline is 15 Jun, while tuition is No tuition fees; 311.30 EUR/semester.

The Master's programme in Biomechanical Engineering at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg combines knowledge from mechanical engineering, medicine, biology, and sports science to enable an interdisciplinary approach to biomedical-technical problems. The programme trains students to analyse biomedical relationships using foundational scientific knowledge and to transfer engineering principles into biological and biomedical systems. Topics covered include materials science, mechanical engineering and construction, mechanics, human medicine and biology, and medical device regulation. The programme runs four semesters and includes a mandatory area of ten modules at 5 CP each, a specialisation track (endoprosthetics or exoprosthetics) with four modules at 5 CP each, an interdisciplinary project of 5 CP, three elective modules of 5 CP each, and a final Master's thesis.
