Building Studies

The HNC in Building Studies is designed for individuals currently employed in the construction industry, particularly those in technical or craft roles. This part-time program spans two years, with classes held one day a week. It offers a practical approach to learning, making it ideal for students who thrive in hands-on environments and wish to advance their careers in construction.

Students will engage with core modules such as Construction Technology, Health, Safety & Welfare, and Management Principles & Application. Elective modules allow for specialization in areas like Construction Science & Materials and Building Services Engineering. Graduates of this program can pursue various roles, including Construction Technician, Site Supervisor, or Building Surveyor.
