Carpentry & Joinery

This Carpentry & Joinery program is for students who want to develop practical skills in construction. It's a 2-year, full-time course that provides hands-on training. The program is ideal for those who enjoy working with their hands and have a passion for building.

Students will learn about first and second fix carpentry techniques, health and safety in woodworking, and interpreting construction drawings. They will also work on practical assignments and assessments to gain necessary skills. The program covers various subjects to help students excel in the field.

Graduates can pursue careers as carpenters, joiners, or self-employed tradespeople. They may work for construction companies, installing floors, walls, and roofing systems, or fitting doors and trims. Possible job titles include Carpenter, Joiner, Construction Worker, or Building Inspector.
