Bilgisayar Mühendisliği

At Beykoz University, tuition costs 5,600 USD per year.

Computer engineering combines principles from electrical engineering and computer science to study the design and development of computer hardware and software systems. Typical coursework includes programming, data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, operating systems, digital logic design, and networks, with growing emphasis on areas such as embedded systems, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Students often complete lab-based projects involving circuit design, software development, and systems integration, building practical skills alongside theoretical understanding. The discipline sits at the intersection of hardware and software, preparing graduates to work on everything from microprocessors and embedded devices to large-scale software systems. Career paths include software engineer, hardware design engineer, systems analyst, network engineer, and roles in emerging fields like machine learning and robotics. This bachelor's program is delivered in English over 4 years at Beykoz University in İstanbul, Turkey, combining core computing theory with applied laboratory work typical of computer engineering programs offered in English at Turkish universities.
