Bachelor in Computer Engineering

Tuition comes to 67,320 TRY per year.

Computer Engineering combines principles from electrical engineering and computer science to cover the design of computer hardware, embedded systems, and the software that operates them. Typical coursework includes digital logic design, computer architecture, programming, operating systems, networks, and embedded systems, alongside supporting mathematics and physics. Students learn to work across the hardware-software boundary, developing skills in circuit design, microprocessor systems, and software development that let them build and troubleshoot integrated computing systems. This bachelor's program in Computer Engineering is offered at Girne University in Girne, Northern Cyprus, with instruction delivered in English across a 4-year degree. The curriculum is organized to build a foundation in mathematics and core engineering principles before progressing into specialized subjects covering hardware design, software systems, and networked and embedded computing. Girne, as a university city on the island, provides an international academic environment for students studying technical and engineering disciplines. Graduates of computer engineering programs go on to work in fields such as hardware design, embedded systems development, telecommunications, network engineering, and software development, often in industries ranging from consumer electronics to industrial automation. Some pursue further study at the graduate level to specialize in areas like computer architecture, robotics, or systems design. The combined hardware and software training gives graduates flexibility to move between roles that require an understanding of both the physical systems and the programs that run on them.
