Computer Science, specializing in Internet and Mobile Technologies, is a master's degree program at the University of Bialystok, taught in English in Bialystok, Poland, over 2 years. Holding this master's degree, graduates can independently solve IT problems and practically apply informatics in selected technological and social fields, with knowledge that also embraces general social issues facilitating interpersonal communication. Graduates can be employed as leaders of programming teams, software designers and creators, IT systems administrators, computer network designers, or data protection and information security specialists, and are prepared to work in various institutions that use advanced IT solutions, particularly software-creating organizations, IT consulting agencies, the modern technology sector, finance, and higher education institutions. Graduates may also undertake third-cycle doctoral study following completion of the program. Internet and mobile technologies as a specialization within computer science covers the design and development of networked and mobile applications, requiring knowledge of programming, systems architecture, and data security alongside an understanding of how these technologies are deployed in real organizational settings. A 2 year master's program of this kind typically builds on an undergraduate computer science background, deepening technical specialization while also developing the communication and leadership skills needed to manage IT projects and teams. Because instruction is delivered entirely in English, the program is accessible to an international cohort pursuing advanced computing study in Poland.
