Bachelor in Digital Game Design

Digital game design focuses on the concepts, tools, and processes used to create video games, spanning game mechanics, narrative design, level design, character and world building, and player experience. Students in this program typically study game theory, interactive storytelling, 2D and 3D design tools, prototyping methods, and elements of programming and game engines, learning how design decisions shape how players interact with and experience a game. Studio and project-based coursework is central, with students building playable prototypes individually and in teams, testing and iterating on gameplay based on player feedback, much as professional game studios do. The curriculum often also touches on the business and cultural dimensions of the games industry, including game history, genres, and platforms, as well as visual and audio design elements that support gameplay.
