Bachelor in English Translation and Interpreting

This program trains students in the theory and practice of translating and interpreting between English and other languages, covering written translation, consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, and the linguistic analysis that underpins accurate cross-language communication. Students study translation theory, terminology management, and the specific demands of translating texts across fields such as legal, technical, literary, and media content, alongside interpreting practice in simulated conference and dialogue settings. The curriculum builds strong command of English and typically the student's native language, along with cultural competence needed to convey meaning accurately across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
