Master in International Master's in Biomedical Engineering (BME)

The International Master of Biomedical Engineering at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is a four-semester programme that merges engineering, medicine, and business subjects. All courses are taught in English. Students design their own study plan by selecting from major modules in biomedical engineering specialisations — including computer-assisted medicine, model and AI-based information processing in medicine, biosignal processing, intensive care technology, and clinical engineering — as well as general engineering and business classes such as software engineering and international innovation management. The programme also includes Master's thesis research, internships, and project work. Courses are delivered as lectures, seminars, or projects, typically combined with laboratory components. The programme is intended for students with an engineering background and is offered at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen/Anhalt, Germany.
