MFA Musical Theatre is an 18-month, intensive postgraduate course preparing performers for a professional Musical Theatre career while also equipping them to direct and teach, awarded as a Master of Fine Arts degree by LAMDA. Training mirrors the MA Musical Theatre course in year one — ensemble singing, private vocal tuition, dance technique (Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Commercial, Hip Hop), and acting-through-song — plus a fully staged public musical, a Regional Tour and an industry Showcase.

The additional second year (terms 5–6) combines tutor-led seminars with self-directed study: students extend their understanding of teaching theory and practice, conduct an independent investigative project, gain a CPD-accredited qualification in teaching LAMDA Examinations, and create an original artistic proposal for a new staging of a classical musical adaptation or a twentieth-century work.
