Bachelor in Architecture

For Bachelor in Architecture, tuition comes to 178 EUR per year.

The Architecture programme at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Toulouse in Toulouse, France is a three-year bachelor-level degree (licence) beginning in September. Instruction is in French and yearly tuition is 178 EUR. Architecture as a discipline combines creative design, technical knowledge, and an understanding of the cultural, social, and environmental forces that shape the built environment. Students develop skills in architectural drawing, digital modelling, structural principles, materials science, and building physics, as well as the history and theory of architecture from antiquity to the present day. Design studios form the core of architectural education, where students work through projects from initial concept to developed design proposals, receiving structured critical feedback at each stage. Urban planning, environmental sustainability, accessibility, and the relationship between architecture and landscape are also important themes at this level. Students gain an understanding of how buildings are conceived not only as aesthetic objects but as functional, social, and technical systems that must respond to climate, site, programme, and regulation. The licence in architecture in France leads naturally to the master-level state diploma in architecture, which is required for independent professional practice. Graduates may go on to work in architectural offices, urban design and planning agencies, heritage conservation, real estate development, and related design disciplines.
