Bachelor in Architecture

The tuition fee is 178 EUR per year.

Architecture is a three-year bachelor-level programme offered in French at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Grenoble (38), located in Grenoble, France. The programme starts in September and yearly tuition is 178 EUR. Architecture education at this level covers the design, history, theory, and technical dimensions of the built environment. Students develop drawing and representation skills — including digital modelling and technical drafting — alongside studio-based design projects that require them to respond to spatial, social, environmental, and cultural briefs. Studio work is the heart of architecture training and runs throughout all years of the programme. Courses typically address architectural history and theory from antiquity to the contemporary period, structural principles and building construction, environmental design and energy performance, urban planning, and the legal and professional frameworks governing the construction industry in France. Students build competence in both hand drawing and computer-aided design tools. Instruction is entirely in French. Graduates of the three-year programme hold the diplôme d'études en architecture conférant le grade de licence, which qualifies them to continue to the master-level state diploma in architecture. Career paths include architectural practice, urban design, heritage conservation, construction project management, and spatial planning. The initial three years establish the design thinking, technical literacy, and historical awareness central to the profession.
