Bachelor in Architecture

The tuition fee is 178 EUR per year.

The Architecture programme at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Marseille in Marseille, France is a three-year bachelor-level degree taught in French, with tuition of 178 EUR per year and a September intake. Architecture study at this level provides a grounding in the design, technical, social, and historical dimensions of the built environment. Students engage with architectural design through studio projects that progress from small-scale interventions to more complex building briefs. Alongside studio work, they study structural principles, building materials, construction techniques, environmental and sustainable design, digital modelling and representation, and the history and theory of architecture from antiquity to the present day. France's Écoles Nationales Supérieures d'Architecture operate under the Ministry of Culture and deliver national diplomas. The three-year programme leads to the Licence en Architecture and is the first stage of a two-cycle path: students must continue to a master's-level programme to obtain the full architecture diploma required for independent professional practice. Career paths after the full qualification include architectural practice, interior architecture, urban design, heritage conservation, real estate development, and project management in the construction sector. The Marseille school's Mediterranean context also opens perspectives in heritage restoration and urban regeneration projects characteristic of southern French and Mediterranean cities. A selection process applies for admission to this programme.
