Wszechnica Polska Academy of Applied Sciences in Warsaw offers a bachelor's program in English Studies, taught in English in Poland, over six semesters, with annual tuition of 1,000 EUR. The English Philology program is designed to develop linguistic competences and skills needed for business relations and intercultural communication. Students explore the culture, history, literature, and media of both the English-speaking world and a second foreign language area as part of the program. Students gain competences related to the translation and publishing markets, as well as media work and the organization of cultural events. The program also builds knowledge in marketing and business, along with soft skills such as facilitating discussions and formulating convincing arguments, and introduces students to rhetorical strategies. Coursework covers the principles of teamwork and the basics of how international companies operate. Graduates are expected to apply the knowledge and skills gained across every area of life, in both business and media-related activities. English studies as a field combines language training with the study of literature, culture, and communication, preparing graduates for roles where strong English skills intersect with cross-cultural or business communication needs. A six-semester bachelor's program of this kind, priced here at 1,000 EUR per year, gives students both the linguistic grounding and the broader cultural and business knowledge needed to work in translation, publishing, media, marketing, or international business settings after graduation, whether in Poland or in other markets where English-language expertise combined with intercultural sensitivity is valued by employers.
