Bachelor in International Relations

At Yaşar University, the tuition fee is 7,250 USD per year.

International Relations examines how states, international organizations, and other actors interact through diplomacy, trade, security arrangements, and global governance. Coursework typically includes political theory, international law, foreign policy analysis, comparative politics, and the history of international institutions, alongside topics such as conflict resolution and global political economy. Students learn to analyze current events through theoretical frameworks and to understand the historical roots of contemporary international issues. Career paths for graduates include diplomatic and government service, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, journalism, research, and roles in multinational companies that require cross-border policy or market knowledge. The discipline also provides a foundation for further academic study in political science, law, or public policy. This bachelor's program in International Relations is offered at Yaşar University in İzmir, Turkey, and spans 4 years of study. Instruction is delivered in English, which supports engagement with the discipline's predominantly English-language scholarship and prepares students to work in international settings after graduation. Being based in İzmir gives students exposure to Turkey's position at the intersection of Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia, a geography often referenced in regional politics coursework. Across the 4 years, students generally move from introductory courses in political science and history toward more specialized electives covering areas such as security studies, European integration, or Middle Eastern politics, often culminating in a thesis or capstone project. The overall structure mirrors standard international relations curricula at universities delivering programs in English to a mixed domestic and international student body.
