MA Drama and Movement Therapy is a two-year, full-time degree (180 credits) providing HCPC-approved vocational training in the Sesame Approach to dramatherapy, combining Jungian psychology with intersubjectivity and developmental psychology theory. Upon graduation, students are eligible to apply to the Health and Care Professions Council for registration as an arts therapist (drama).

• Apprenticeship-model placements from term 2 in NHS trusts, charities and education settings, working with client groups including adults with mental health problems, dementia patients and children with challenging behaviour
• Students must be in individual therapy for the duration of the course and complete at least 30 sessions of a dramatherapy group (therapy costs not included in course fees)
• Final assessment: a portfolio (7,000-word critical essay, 4,000-word clinical practice report, professional development plan) and a viva voce
