Bilgisayar Mühendisliği

This program provides a broad grounding in computer engineering, covering the design and analysis of hardware and software systems. Coursework typically spans programming, data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, operating systems, databases, networks, and software engineering practices, with later years allowing specialization in areas such as artificial intelligence, embedded systems, or cybersecurity. Students build practical skills through lab work and project-based courses that combine theory with hands-on system building. Graduates pursue careers as software developers, systems engineers, network specialists, and technical analysts across industries including telecommunications, finance, manufacturing, and technology services, and many continue into graduate study for more specialized or research-oriented roles. This bachelor's program runs 4 years and is taught in English at Istanbul Beykent University in İstanbul, Turkey. Students benefit from studying in a major metropolitan center with strong ties to the technology and business sectors, giving access to internships and industry connections throughout the region. The curriculum balances foundational mathematics and theoretical computer science with applied engineering coursework, preparing graduates for both immediate employment and further academic study. International students choosing this program gain an English-medium engineering education within Turkey's higher education system, studying alongside a mixed cohort of local and international peers. The structured four-year sequence allows steady progression from introductory programming and mathematics courses toward advanced electives and a capstone project, giving students a comprehensive foundation in the discipline by graduation.
