Computer Engineering combines principles from electrical engineering and computer science to design and build computing hardware and software systems. Coursework typically covers programming, data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, digital logic design, operating systems, computer networks, and embedded systems, alongside mathematics and circuit theory. Students work on laboratory projects and design tasks that involve building both hardware components and the software that runs on them, developing skills applicable to fields such as processor design, systems programming, and network engineering. Graduates find roles in software development, hardware design, telecommunications, and technology companies, working on tasks that range from chip-level design to large-scale software systems. The discipline also connects with growing areas such as artificial intelligence infrastructure and cybersecurity, where computing hardware and software knowledge come together. This bachelor's program is taught in English over 4 years at Eskişehir Technical University, located in Eskişehir, Turkey. The English-medium curriculum allows students to build technical vocabulary and communication skills in English while studying core computer engineering subjects across the four-year program. Eskişehir, a university city in northwestern Turkey, hosts the faculty responsible for delivering this course of study, giving students access to engineering laboratories and coursework structured to progress toward the bachelor's degree.
