Bilgisayar Mühendisliği

This computer engineering program prepares students to design and build the hardware and software systems that underpin modern computing. Coursework typically covers programming, data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, digital logic design, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and software engineering, alongside mathematics and physics foundations. Students work on practical projects that involve designing software applications, working with embedded systems, and understanding how computer hardware and software interact, developing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on technical skills. Graduates commonly pursue careers as software developers, systems engineers, network engineers, embedded systems designers, or hardware engineers, working across industries such as technology, telecommunications, finance, and manufacturing that depend on computing systems. Some continue into graduate study in computer engineering, computer science, or related technical fields. The discipline calls for strong problem-solving skills and a solid grounding in mathematics and logic, since engineers in this field must design systems that are efficient, reliable, and scalable. This program is offered at Fenerbahçe University in İstanbul, Turkey, and is taught in English, giving students an internationally oriented technical curriculum. It runs for 4 years at the bachelor level, combining theoretical coursework with laboratory work and project-based learning. Graduates are prepared to enter the technology workforce directly or to pursue further specialized study in computing and engineering fields.
