Computer Engineering combines principles from electrical engineering and computer science to study the design of computer hardware, software, and integrated systems. Students take coursework in programming, data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, digital logic design, operating systems, and networks, along with electrical engineering fundamentals such as circuits and electronics. The discipline trains students to work across both hardware and software layers of computing systems, from designing processors and embedded systems to developing software applications and networked systems, giving graduates a broad technical foundation applicable to many areas of modern technology. This bachelor's degree is offered at Gaziantep University in Gaziantep, Turkey, with instruction delivered in English over a 4-year curriculum. Early coursework establishes foundations in mathematics, programming, and electronics, while later years introduce more specialized subjects such as computer architecture, embedded systems, and software engineering, often supported by laboratory and project work. English-medium instruction reflects the widespread use of English in computing and technology fields internationally. Graduates of the program can pursue careers in software development, hardware design, systems engineering, networking, and information technology across a wide range of industries, or continue to graduate study in computer engineering, computer science, or related fields. The broad technical grounding provided by the program supports flexibility in choosing among hardware-focused, software-focused, or systems-focused career paths after graduation.
