This 4 years program is taught in English at Istanbul Health and Technology University in İstanbul, Turkey. Computer Engineering combines computer science and electrical engineering to cover both the hardware and software sides of computing systems. Students study programming, data structures, computer architecture, digital logic design, operating systems, and networks, along with laboratory work building and testing hardware and software systems. The program develops the skills needed to design processors, embedded systems, and computing infrastructure as well as the software that runs on them, giving students a view of computing that spans from circuit-level design up to application software. Coursework often includes projects that require students to integrate hardware and software components, such as programming microcontrollers or designing digital circuits, reinforcing how the two layers interact in a working system. Graduates work as computer or hardware engineers, systems designers, and software developers across the technology, telecommunications, and manufacturing sectors, with many continuing into graduate study in computer engineering or computer science. Studying at Istanbul Health and Technology University places students in İstanbul, giving access to the wider academic and professional environment of the city while completing a program structured around the standard progression expected for this field. Over the course of the 4 years program, students move from foundational coursework toward more applied and specialized study, building toward the bachelor qualification awarded on completion at Istanbul Health and Technology University.
