Bilgisayar Mühendisliği

Computer Engineering combines principles from computer science and electrical engineering to design and build computing systems, covering both hardware and software. Typical coursework includes programming fundamentals, data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, digital logic design, operating systems, computer networks, embedded systems, and software engineering, often supported by mathematics courses such as calculus, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics. Students build practical skills through lab work and projects involving circuit design, microprocessors, and software development, gaining experience with the tools and languages used across the computing industry. Career paths for graduates include software development, hardware and embedded systems engineering, network engineering, systems architecture, and further study toward specializations such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or robotics. This 4 years bachelor's program is delivered in English at Konya Food and Agriculture University in Konya, Turkey, allowing international students to study without requiring Turkish proficiency. Konya Food and Agriculture University's location in Konya places students in a setting connected to Turkey's growing technology sector. Over the course of the program, students typically progress from foundational mathematics and programming courses toward more specialized subjects in computer architecture, software systems, and engineering design, often culminating in a capstone or graduation project. International students evaluating computer engineering programs commonly consider the language of instruction, the balance between hardware and software coursework, and opportunities for internships or industry projects during their studies.
