Bachelor in Computer Engineering

Computer Engineering combines principles from computer science and electrical engineering to study the design of computing hardware and software systems. Coursework covers programming, data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, operating systems, digital logic design, and computer networks, giving students both theoretical grounding and practical, project-based experience. Students work on assignments involving software development, embedded systems, and system-level design, building the technical skills needed to develop and maintain complex computing systems. The program prepares graduates for careers in software development, hardware design, systems engineering, and technology consulting, as well as further graduate study in computer engineering or computer science. The program is offered in English at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, over a duration of 4 years.
