Neither school's published material names an English test requirement; that absence is what their pages say today, not a promise it will stay that way, so confirm directly when you apply.

What to weigh

Read the price against the situation. Kyrgyz State Medical Academy's published schedule for far-abroad students starts at $3,500 a year and steps down in later years; Osh State University's 2026-27 order prices year one at 325,000 som. Those are genuinely low, printed, official numbers. But the 2026 review shows why cheap alone is the wrong filter: most of the market's schools just lost the right to admit new international students, and students at barred schools are living through forced transfers mid-degree. The two-minute check of the ministry's accreditation list is worth more than any fee comparison on this page.

The copycat-site problem is as bad here as anywhere in Central Asia — both universities in our table have known imitation domains run by recruiters. Read fees only on the university's own site, and treat any figure that arrives via a chat message as unverified. Is the WDOMS or ECFMG listing enough to trust a school?

No — and Kyrgyzstan in 2026 is the clearest example of why. International directory listings and the state's own accreditation decisions run on different tracks, and a school can still appear in a directory while the Ministry of Health has barred it from admitting new international students. Check the ministry's current list first; treat directory badges as historical information, not clearance.

Is NEET required for Kyrgyzstan?

Not by the two accredited universities' published admission processes — but that answers the wrong question if you're Indian. India requires NEET-UG of its own citizens and OCIs for any primary medical qualification obtained abroad after May 2018, so an admission letter without NEET doesn't change what the NMC will ask when you come home. Qualify NEET first if practising in India is the plan.

Can I transfer if something happens to my university?

The 2026 review triggered exactly that machinery: students from barred schools are being moved to accredited ones under ministry supervision.
